Eat The Chocolate! Isn’t this what most of us want to hear?
You may be thinking how is it possible that a personal trainer is trying to get me on a path to wellness and suggesting that I eat chocolate?
Let me explain….
I have been on my own journey for the past several years working hard at growing personally and professionally. I have learned so much about me from having the right mindset and surrounding myself with great people. I have taken advantage of opportunities presented to me and opened up my heart and mind to receive everything good that will make a positive impact in my life. Essentially saying “Yes” and “I can” many times over. I’m in love with the idea that you can manifest the things that you want!
What I realize from talking to many people is that we all have something inside of us that we like, want, or need. We have strengths, passion, gifts we were born with and most of all we have opportunity. Sometimes though, we lose sight of the things that are important to us! When we want to make change we can get overwhelmed and realize that we really don’t know where to start.
Opportunities are presented to us daily but we may not be paying close enough attention. Ask yourself “How many times have I wanted to start a fitness program but felt paralyzed and did nothing to achieve my goals?” and “How many opportunities have I had to make change whether it’s related to my health, my job or otherwise and not jumped at the opportunity?”
Well since I am a trainer, I would be remiss if I didn’t at least mention personal training as an opportunity! Living a healthy lifestyle can be hard without motivation. Lacking a good support system can make things seem impossible but at the end of the day it really is you vs you! I’m confident in saying that a personal training experience with me can make the most amazing impact on your life! The change you have been thinking about!!
So, you like the idea, want to try personal training, and need to make change; how will you make it happen?
As you are reading all of this I’m thinking about your appetite and if you are really hungry for change. I’m hoping that you are not thinking about your appetite as in what fast food drive thru will you visit in the next 15 minutes!
If you are truly hungry for change what will you do to sasiate your appetite?
Something to think about….
Imagine the most delicious piece of chocolate that you crave and want to eat which will give you instant gratification, could you leave it on the counter and walk away?
Now imagine an opportunity to eat something different that you have never had before, would you see it on the counter and give it a try?
Maybe this doesn’t make sense to you but the point I am trying to make is by shifting your mindset, having a great support system and connecting with your mind body and soul it will definitely get you on the right path in making better choices.
A new mindset should be about making an investment in yourself, trying something new, leaving old habits behind, and being motivated to work towards a healthier version of yourself. Think long term!
I want you to think about your choices and pretend that the chocolate is now the opportunity. Satisfaction comes from having the inner strength to address what may be holding you back. My advice is to open up your heart and mind, make change, don’t walk away from it and yes, yes, yes…. Its ok to eat the chocolate!
